Udhavum Ullangal is a dedicated non-governmental organization that has been providing a safe and supportive home to helpless elderly people for the past 21 years, currently caring for 36 Elders. The organization ensures that all their basic needs are met, including free meals, proper shelter, and medical care, enabling these golden-agers to enjoy a better quality of life and dignity in their later years.
In addition to running the home for elders, the NGO also extends its support to poor and underprivileged elders living in slums and disadvantaged areas across Chennai, Kancheepuram, Maraimalai Nagar, Chengalpet, and other similar locations. The NGO conducts free welfare programs, health awareness sessions, and basic care initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for these elders who otherwise might not have access to proper support, medical attention, or essential resources.
